Early Life
Jeff grew up in a family which struggled to make ends meet. His father was an alcoholic and abusive. He attended Miami Palmetto High School and was valedictorian there. He studied at Princeton University and then joined Wall Street as a financial analyst with D.E Shaw. After doing his MBA from Harvard Business School he worked at Bankers Trust in NY for four years as a hedge fund manager. Finally he founded amazon in 1994

How He Started His Company
Jeff Bezos was working on Wall Street when he decided to start an online bookstore. He left his job at a New York City hedge fund and relocated to Seattle in 1994 to launch his company in his garage. In 1998, he began selling books internationally and opened new offices. The company now has warehouses across North America, Europe and Asia.
