She has appeared in the films Snakes on a Plane, Giallo and Give ‘Em Hell, Malone. She also starred in Fast Five (2011) alongside Vin Diesel. For her role as Neves in Fast & Furious she received much critical acclaim.

Pataky was born in Barcelona to a Sephardic Jewish family. Her father is of Syrian and Lebanese descent, while her mother is Spanish. In 2007 she starred as Elena Neves in Fast & Furious. She has two younger brothers: Iago (born 1986) and Aitor (born 1989).

Elsa Lafuente Medianu was born on May 12, 1978 in Figueres, Spain. Her father is Spanish and her mother is a native of Guadalajara. She has two sisters who are also models. She attended a private school where she focused on science. At an early age she discovered she had a passion for acting and modeling.

Born in Benidorm, Alicante, Spain on April 16th 1979, Pataky got her start as a model when she was 14 years old. After moving to Madrid to further pursue her career in modeling at age 18 she quickly became a household name throughout Spain.
