Born on October 10, 1992 in Houston, Texas and raised in Rockwall, Julia first studied theater before choosing film as her platform. Julia made her screen debut at the age of 16 with a recurring role in the ABC Family show The Secret Life of the American Teenager. Julia’s first major break came when she was cast as Ruth Langmore on Netflix’s Ozark series starring Jason Bateman and Laura Linney.
