Luisana Loreley Lopilato is an Argentine actress, model and former singer. Luisana Loreley Lopilato is an Argentine actress, model and former singer. She was born on May 18, 1987 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Early Career
Lopilato started her career at a young age, appearing in television commercials. In 1998, she made her acting debut in the miniseries Chiquititas. She rose to fame in 2002 when she was cast as a member of the pop-rock band Erreway. The group achieved success in Argentina, Chile and Mexico. In 2004, the group disbanded and Lopilato began focusing on her acting career. Her first leading role came in 2006 with Além do Horizonte (Beyond the Horizon). Later that year, she co-starred with Spanish actor Javier Bardem in Boca a Boca (Mouth to Mouth). That same year, she had another lead role in El Caso Mattei (The Mattei Affair) alongside Mexican actress Ana Claudia Talancón. Her biggest break came later that year when Hollywood producer Robert Rodriguez offered her the role of Shé in Sin City. 1. How did you get your start in acting?
I started acting when I was six years old. My mom enrolled me in an acting class because she thought it would be a good way for me to make friends. I loved it so much that I ended up pursuing it as a career.
2. What was it like being a part of Erreway?
It was an amazing experience! We got to travel all over the world and perform for millions of people. When we weren’t touring, we would record albums and film movies together.
3. Why did you decide to stop performing with Erreway?
I decided to stop performing with Erreway when I discovered my passion for acting. There were many factors that led me to this decision, but one of them was how much time our group spent apart while touring and recording albums – it didn’t leave us enough time together on stage or on set.
