How did you get your start in the industry?
I always loved movies and telling stories, so it was a natural fit for me to pursue a career in film. I started out working in production, and then eventually transitioned into writing and directing. It’s been a long and winding road, but I wouldn’t change it for anything! My first feature, Pixels, is set to release in 2019. My short films have screened at festivals all over the world, including Cannes and SXSW. I’m also an instructor at UCLA Extension and Columbia College Chicago, teaching aspiring filmmakers how to tell their own stories with sound design, editing, lighting design and more.
