1. What was your favorite part about filming Bridgerton?

It was amazing to be a part of something that was so visually stunning and had such a great cast. It was also wonderful to film in England, which is where I’m from. I loved getting to play a character with so much depth and history. The best part, though, was definitely the relationships I got to form with the other actors. We all became really close and it was like being part of a family.

2. How did you prepare for your role as Simon Basset?

I had to learn how to waltz for the show, and that was something I was really excited about. It’s not something you see every day, two men waltzing together. I also had to do a lot of research on the period and the specific time that we were shooting in, which was 1813 London. I read a lot of books and watched a lot of movies set in that time period to get a sense of the mannerisms and the speech patterns.

3. What was it like working with Phoebe Dynevor?

It was amazing working with Phoebe Dynevor. She is such a talented actress and she really brought the character of Daphne Bridgerton to life. It was an honor to work with her and I’m excited to see what she does next. With all that said, this project has been one of my favorite projects to date because it’s given me the opportunity to play a character that we’re not used to seeing on TV. There are so many more roles like this out there for people like me, so if you have any suggestions please feel free to reach out!

4. What was the most challenging part of filming the series?

The most challenging part of filming the series was trying to find a balance between work and life. I was working long hours and trying to juggle a personal life as well. It was tough at times, but I’m glad I did it.
