He made his first TV appearance in DR3’s Saturday Night Takeaway and he competed in X Factor 2009 where he reached 9th place with Michael Harren’s mentoring. Christopher Lund Nissen was born on August 5, 1985 in Copenhagen, Denmark to parents Lars and Dorte. He has one older brother and two younger sisters. His father is a musician who had his own band called Flamingokvintetten from 1976-1978 which won three awards. He also worked as an independent musician throughout Denmark with his music partner John Taylor whom he met while working at Mimer Studio in Copenhagen.
After finishing at The Danish National School of Performing Arts in Copenhagen, Nissen went on to study Music Pedagogy at The Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus from 2001-2005. In 2009 he moved to London where he began working with producer Mike Spencer.
