Christopher Lund-Nissen (born 4 March 1988) is a Danish singer from Copenhagen, signed to EMI Denmark. He made his first TV appearance in DR3’s Saturday Night Takeaway and he competed in X Factor 2009 where he reached 9th place with Michael Harren’s mentoring. In 2012, he won an award at Danish Music Awards for New Thinker of The Year.

Christopher was born to his father, Thorvald and mother, Marie. He has an older brother named Lars, who’s a Danish athlete who has won medals in both discus and shot put at various international competitions. He’s also related to former Danish prime minister Poul Schlüter (1920-2012), whose second wife is Christopher’s aunt. In his teens, he attended Risør Gymnasium school near Oslo for two years before returning to Denmark.

Chris’s first public appearance was at a talent contest on TV2 Fyn, which he won, which also brought him to Copenhagen. In October 2012, he released his first single Sengetid, followed by his second single Et lille rødt kort. He competed in Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2013 with his song Heavenly Hurt and finished sixth overall. On 17 November 2013 it was announced that Chris had been signed to EMI Denmark as a solo artist.

Christopher Lund Nissen was born on August 5, 1985 in Copenhagen, Denmark to parents Lars and Dorte. He has one older brother and two younger sisters. His father is a musician who had his own band called Flamingokvintetten from 1976-1978 which won three awards. He also worked as an independent musician throughout Denmark with his music partner John Taylor whom he met while working at Mimer Studio in Copenhagen.

After finishing at The Danish National School of Performing Arts in Copenhagen, Nissen went on to study Music Pedagogy at The Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus from 2001-2005. In 2009 he moved to London where he began working with producer Mike Spencer.

In 2014, a 25-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man reported to have been in a four-month relationship with Christopher Lund, who claims that he deceived them by wearing underpants beneath his jeans when they had intercourse.
