A former senior communications advisor to Congresswoman Katherine Clark and a 2016 Victory Fund Fellow, Karine has been an organizer in some of the most pivotal elections over recent years. Since 2015, she has also served as a commentator for various major outlets including MSNBC, CBS News, CSPAN, CNBC and HuffPost. In addition to her television appearances, she also writes a regular column at Forbes about politics.
Jean-Pierre was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Her parents were both French, and she received her early education in France and Haiti. Her father died when she was four years old, and her mother remarried an American banker who took his wife’s family back to New York City.
