Kara discusses what it was like to grow up as a child star and how she deals with people who are jealous of her success. She talks about her admiration for Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, and Natalie Portman, as well as going to rehab for cocaine addiction. Throughout it all Kara comes across confident, charming and talented. She’s gone through some hard times in her life but still makes you want to root for her successes by never seeming like she’s trying too hard or putting on airs.

I’m really excited to continue doing theater and films. I am currently a regular on Chicago Fire and have guest starred on 2 Broke Girls and had recurring roles on Gilmore Girls, Bones, The Secret Life of an American Teenager and Criminal Minds.
