It was announced on April 30, 2015 that Diggs would forgo his senior season at Maryland and enter the 2015 NFL Draft. He attended the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis and completed all of the combine and positional drills. On March 31, 2016, he participated at Maryland’s pro day, but chose to stand on his combine numbers and only performed positional drills. During his time at Maryland, he had a multiple run-ins with local law enforcement that led him to be suspended from two games during his sophomore year.
